i just wanted to apparate in to say that i'm enjoying all the deathly hallows-related posts. i'm in my own personal media blackout until i finish the book, so i'm treading on the internets quite carefully. hope you're enjoying your copy as much as i'm enjoying mine.
I don't have a copy yet. 8^( BUT, Mimi picked one up for us last night--wish I could apparate up there to get it, instead of driving an hour each way.
Right now, I'm reading the Half-Blood Prince to Jasper, to catch him up. I'm enjoying spending this time with my baby immensely--all cuddled up mispronouncing wizard names and explaining British terms to him (like 'trainers' and 'jumpers' and 'getting sacked').
As I write this post both HBP and DH books are on the desk in front of me and I notice that the illustration on the dust cover in your picture is different to ours. You know the explanation of British terms will be no problem for you Laura...but if you get stuck I'm happy to help! p.s. hello Franko!!
I may need your expertise at some point, Dee, and I'm sure to give a yelp if I do.
But I'm fairly well versed in my Brit-terms from my years of drunken online chats with cheeky UK boys (Hello Rodti, James, Bodie, Gavin, Squitsy, et. al....)
