Doolittle

Good girls don't...
but I do.

"I could have ------ all night, I could have ------ all night,
And still have begged for more. I could have spread my ----
And done a thousand things I've never done before.
I'll never know what made it so exciting, Why all at once my heart took flight.
I only know when he began to ---- with me I could have ------, ------, ------ all night!"

Before I saw that you were dressed up as Eliza, I thought the title might be referring to the excellent album by the Pixies.

It bummed me out a little at first, but since then I've grown accustomed to your post.

I DID have the Pixies in the back of my mind as I titled the post--in fact I ALWAYS have the Pixies in the back of my mind, wherever it may be...

Unfortunately, my copy of 'Doolittle' is so overplayed, it is scratched up and skips all the time. (Just a friendly solicitation to anyone with a playable copy and a CD burner. 8^) A copy of My Bloody Valentine's 'Isn't Anything' would be nice, too, as mine was 'lent out' and never returned.)

P.S. How ya like them hickies in the last pic?? Lorelei did 'em for me.

Just another subtlety of my '19th Century Cockney Whore' getup that was entirely lost on the drunkards at the bar we went to. They prolly all thought I was supposed to be Courtney Love.

They probably thought you were Julia Roberts as Mary Reilly, which made them wonder why anyone would choose such an obscure movie as a costume, everyone except the guy dressed as Anthony Hopkins from Remains of the Day, of course.

I gots "Isn't Anything"! I'll poop out a copy for ye, by golly!

Cor blimey missus.....you certainly go the whole hog with the dressing up thing...you go girl! You look fantastic.
Have just dropped my daughter at a brownie meeting (do you have brownies, junior girl guides?)where as an ex girl guide she is helping out on halloween with the little ones...she was a tarot card reader and all we could come up with was lots of scarves and necklaces!!

Scarves and necklaces work quite well for a tarot card reader. When I was young my favorite costume choice was being a gypsy because I got to wear all my mom's jewelry (she created a monster--cuz now I'M the one with all the jewelry) and she'd put the heavy makeup on me and all that. I remember doing that several times. My brother's best back-up costume was being a bum. Old flannel shirt, dirt on his face, cigar stub.

My kid gets good costumes every year. No repeats. Except for the time he WANTED to be a train 2 years in a row.

Just got home from the costume parade at his school--took lots o' pics. But as usual, Blogger's being poopy about letting me upload--I have some really great shots from my mom's pumpkin carving party that I still wanna put up. Plus Lorelei as a defiant Catholic schoolgirl...we'll see if I am able to upload...

OH...p.s. on the 'jewelry' thing. Y'know that 'grubby little trinket' I posted last week??? It's fetching $304.99 already with 5 days left to the auction.

I paid $18 for it.

I so rule!! 8^D
But just sometimes. 8^|

P.P.S. Yeah, we do have Brownies and Girl Scouts (I was a scout for a year).

My kid is in Cub Scouts.

My mom used to be a Den Mother back in the sixties. I think she still has her uniform--blue miniskirt, yellow blouse--which I WANT, and WILL HAVE (if I ever locate it).

Perhaps next year's costume?

Great costume! I dressed up as a hard working public servant and won for "most imaginative".

Lorelei gave you those hickeys, you say?

Too bad you didn't get a shot of that to post.

Or maybe you did...?? Email me.

I got a shot of me feeling her up, if yer innerested...

But it's gonna cost ya!!

Old Man Crowder said...

How do I know it's worth whatever price you're asking?

Forget it. It doesn't matter. I'm THAT desperate. Name your price.

Laura said...

Old Man...for you, I put out at a bargain rate.

And Cletus??? Every time I re-read your Mary Reilly/Tony Hopkins comment I laugh my ass off. Can I tell you once again how brilliant you are??

Cletus Warhol, your brain makes me happy!!

I'm always ready to hear talk of my brilliance, and I'm very pleased my brain is making someone happy, as it can sometimes drive me batty.
