I was putzing around on YouTube yesterday and I found this clip from my old band!! That's John P. singing and playing the acoustic guitar I got on my 13th birthday (which I traded him for his first electric guitar--that banana-yellow Ibanez you've seen me playing elsewhere on this blog). ANYHOO...Steve is in the back on the left and Doug is on the right.

Now's about the time I'd typically say 'C-ya. Bye. I don't wanna do this anymore.' But I'm not gonna say those things this time. Just gonna say 'I'll post when I have the time/energy/desire...' At the moment, I have none of those things. Not for the blog, anyway.

I have been working really hard in the past several months. In a way and at a level I've not been able to in a really long time. Maybe at a level I've NEVER been able to access before. It's tough work. Painful. Soul-searing. Not the least bit fun. But I am beginning to see and feel the benefits--profound changes which will allow me to experience happiness in a way I've never been able to before. Changes in how I see myself and how I see the world. A true paradigm shift. Exciting, albeit scary, stuff.

But not the stuff of photo blogs.

Ostensibly, my life is pretty dull right now. Almost all of this change is internal, which is just fine by me as I know those are the kinds of changes that last. Yet I feel bad for not being able to 'present' you all with a more interesting or fun show. Sorry. (But not too sorry.) It's my life here and it's finally becoming something worth living.

I'll continue to share it with you whenever I can.
