Hey Dee!!!! Yeah, we've had several beautiful days here. But I'd trade 'em in a blink of an eye if I could hop over the pond and hang out in your neck of the woods for a bit.

Besides the grey, how's life treating you and yours?

Delta Dawn?

Oh wait...I get it...Delta is the Greek symbol for 'a change in'. It's a triangle, usually found in math and physics problems.

The seasons are changing -- so one might write: "delta seasons"

Oh yeah. I'm awesome.

Well we had some sunshine this afternoon! Was up in Liverpool visiting the University (and visiting family)and had a super day...and me and my daughter are hopping over the pond to visit New York soon for her 18th birthday...have you never been to our shores before?

No, unfortunately I've never been off the North American continent. 8^( I ALMOST had a chance to live in London for a year or so--back in 1984--probably would've been a great time to be there, too.

My father was working there (advertising) and I was supposed to go over when I finished school (secretarial--don't ask.) Anyhoo, he was walking down a London sidewalk one day and slipped on some dog shit and herniated 2 discs in his back. So they shipped him back to Illinois (I was in living in Boston at the time) and I think he was in bed for 3 months (I know he's had back surgery, but I think that came later.)

So...that's that.

I still want to get over there (I am a bit of an Anglophile) before I croak. Also would like to see Paris, now that I've read so much 18th century French history.

Oh. And that dog shit story is TRUE.
